Raison d' être
The International Arabic Union (IAU) is an international organisation whose members include various parties, groups and public figures.
It was established in accordance with the principles of freedom, equality and fraternity, to preserve the national, regional and international peace and security of the countries of the Arab world, particularly Iraq, as well as to encourage the development of friendly relations between the nations of the East and the West, and promote social progress, improved living standards and human rights.
The chain that links supporters of the IAU is their commitment to the principles set out in the UN Charter, which, as an international law convention, sets out the rights and obligations of the members of the international community.
